How to make a grocery liste?
- Plan a 7 day menu;
- Look around and evaluate what ingredients you already have in your kitchen. Notice if any items have not been used in a long time. Try and keep your food as fresh as possible. Idealy, use a paper and pen to write down what you have or to note what has expired;
- Divide your list into four categories: Dairy products, Fruits and Veggies, Breads and Cereal and Proteins. Another good idea is to keep cleaning product or beauty products apart on the list;
- Note that in most grocery stores you can find items from the four food groups mostly on the outside contour of the store. In the middle isles, you can find your other products such as your cleaning products and often junk food. If you can avoid these isles you will find it easier to buy healthy.
